How do I appeal an enforcement notice?

If you believe that you should not have been issued an automatic enrolment notice, you can appeal against a notice, the first step is to apply to us for a review.

A full list of the notices and their fines can be found at How we enforce.

You have 28 days from the date of issue of the notice or penalty to apply for a review.

For more information on how the process works and what you can expect from us visit apply for a review. You’ll also be able to find out what you can do if you disagree with our review decision.

To find out more visit Warnings, notices and payment of fines.

Reviews are taking approximately 10 working days to process. We deal with reviews in date order and we will suspend enforcement action on the case until the review outcome has been completed.
