I’m going to be a new employer, what do I need to do and by when?

If you are going to employ someone for the first time, your duties will begin on the day your first member of staff starts work. On this day you must assess your staff to see if they meet the age and earnings criteria to be put into a pension scheme for automatic enrolment.
