As an employer, will I receive notification ahead of my duties start date or staging date?
All employers should receive a letter ahead of their staging date. This letter will be addressed to the owner or most senior person in the organisation. It’s the responsibility of employers to ensure they know the correct staging date for their organisation and to ensure they meet their legal duties.
If your first member of staff starts working for you on or after 1 October 2017, you won’t receive any notification from us ahead of your duties start date.
