What information do I need to provide in the declaration of compliance?

A declaration of compliance is an online form for you to complete to tell us how you've met your legal duties.

Some of the information that you’ll need to provide include staff details such as the number of staff who were put into a pension scheme, plus anyone else who were already members of a pension scheme that you pay money into or who weren’t put into a pension scheme.

This includes those who have asked to join your pension scheme and any staff who have since left. This must not include anyone who started working for you after the duties start date.

To help you complete your declaration of compliance you should use the declaration of compliance checklist which shows you all of the information you will need and where you can get it from.
